My wife & I have Qantas Mastercard & Amex Ultimate Cards. We are disappointed that both cards DO NOT ALLOW cover for PRE EXISTING MEDICAL CONDITIONS - NOT EVEN WITH SCREENING & EXTRA PREMIUM, despite paying fully for intended travel. I have found that CBA Smart card will consider such cover and we only need to NOTIFY THEM before travel to get the card benefits. No need to even pay for the travel using the card! Are there other similar or better cards?

Hi I have had a Visa credit card with Latitude for years now and like millions of others, I have just received notification from Latitude that my personal information and driver's licence details have been stolen. I have just been to Services NSW today to have my driver's licence replaced and am almost sure that I will cancel my Latitude Visa card and take out another credit card. I am now retired and drawn a pension from my super and also receive a part Aust. Aged Pension (around $26,000 annual income), so I would need to apply where this income is OK. I would like some suggestions as to the best card to consider. By the way I always pay off my credit card each month in full, so I never have interest to pay. Once I decide on a new credit card is it then that I could go to Equifax (or similar) to have a credit ban placed against my name?

I am an Australian citizen by birth and living overseas for past 5 years, working full time. I need an Australian credit card to help with purchases in Australia. What is the best way to go about this / best option for me? Don’t need anything fancy just low to no fee card if possible. I have excellent salary plus good savings. Thanks

Hi there, I’m looking to find a credit card that reports good behaviour. I paid off my Part 9 Debt agreement around 1 year ago, which was 3 years early. I am trying to improve my credit score as I am in a really good financial position now and would like to buy a home at the end of the year. Do you know of any providers that will actually look at my circumstances, rather than declining me due to the resolved debt agreement?

Is there any bank in Australia that supports payment rings? I have had a Bankwast Halo ring for years and loved it. Now that Bankwest has ceased to support the system, I am looking for another bank credit card. I ty8pically spend between $2000 to $8000 per month on my Mastercard, paying it out in full before the due date each month. I would use the ring for morst of these payments.

Hi there, I’m looking to travel at the end of the year and I’m looking to get a credit card that can serve the needs of me and my family At the moment my income is 100,000 a year I have no bad debt and no debts whatsoever I’ll be travelling to Qatar tower for one month in Europe for a month and a half I’m looking for a card that can provide me with a few things listed below A card that has no or low international transaction fees, if there are international transaction fees I don’t mind paying them if the card overall value is good A card that I don’t have to pay off for at least 2 months as when I come back I’m planning to pay it off. I will be purchasing flights accomodation and basically everything for me, my brother and my girlfriend and will ask them to pay me for their share I would like as much bonus points as possible for signing up I’m looking to spent at least 30k on this trip so if I don’t get heaps of bonus points in the initial offer I would like to get them through purchases I would like travel insurance for me and insurance for the items I might buy there I would like a card that doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg in the first place Ideally I want a card that I can pay the minimum payments on for the time I’m there and pay full amounts after I’m open for two cards as well Let me know what suits me
